The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has commenced the opening of financial bids for projects funded through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and the university’s Paid Service Revenue. This exercise took place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Senate Building Conference Hall, Ground Floor, NOUN headquarters, Jabi, Abuja.

Ms. Dinah Dija Abbas, the Director of Procurement, represented the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Uduma O. Uduma, during the proceedings. The event also saw the attendance of TETFund representative, Mrs. Aanu Mary, along with representatives from participating companies and university officials.

During the session, the financial bids submitted by the participating companies were opened, revealing the proposed contract sums and project completion timelines. Representatives from the companies were invited to sign against their respective financial submissions, adhering to the established bid-opening process.

This exercise is part of the university’s procurement procedures, aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability in the evaluation of financial proposals for the projects. The submitted bids will undergo further evaluation in accordance with applicable procurement regulations before any decisions on contract awards are made.
