NOUN Project Guide: From Registration to Submission

Are you a NOUN student getting ready to write your project? Here's a step-by-step breakdown of the whole process, from registration to final submission.

Step 1: Register for Your Semester Start by completing your semester registration for the current semester.

Step 2: Register Your Project Course Include the project course as part of your semester/course registration. Important: If you registered the project course in a previous semester but didn't proceed with the project processing, you don't need to register it again — it's generally a one-time registration.

Step 3: Keep Your Course Registration Slip Once registration is complete, download and keep your course registration slip showing the project course code. You'll likely need it later during project processing and submission.

Step 4: Generate Three Project Topics Research and come up with three suitable project topics relevant to your programme of study. Make sure each topic fits your course/discipline and is suitable for an academic project.

Step 5: Generate Your NOUN E-Project Slip Visit: https://puredu.net/noun-e-project-slip You'll be asked to enter details such as your three proposed topics, your study centre, and other required information.

Step 6: Download and Print Your Project Slip After filling in all the required details, click "Generate Slip." Your completed project slip will be generated and downloaded as a PDF. Print it and double-check that all the information is correct.

Step 7: Submit Your Project Topic Attach the printed e-project slip to your course registration slip (the one showing your project course code). Take both documents to your faculty/department for project topic submission and processing.

Step 8: Get Your Project Supervisor After submitting your topic, you'll be assigned a project supervisor. Once assigned, reach out to them and follow their guidance. Your supervisor may:

  • Select one of your three submitted topics
  • Modify one of the topics
  • Assign you a completely new topic

Step 9: Start Writing Your Project Once your topic is approved, begin writing. You'll work progressively from the first chapter through to the final chapter, following the structure and instructions your supervisor gives you. Note: Corrections and adjustments are a normal part of this stage — make the necessary changes based on your supervisor's feedback before moving on to the next stage.

Step 10: Complete and Submit Your Final Project Once the project is complete and all corrections have been made, prepare your final copy according to your faculty's requirements. For final submission, visit your Study Centre and submit the completed project through the appropriate PAS/Project Administrative System or to the designated official, as instructed.

Step 11: Project Defence Postgraduate students will be notified of their project defence details, including the date and other requirements. Undergraduate students generally do not need to undergo a project defence.

Step 12: Await Your Semester Result Once you've completed the project requirements and other semester activities, all that's left is to await the release of your semester result.

In Summary: Semester Registration → Project Course Registration → Keep Course Slip → Generate 3 Topics → Generate E-Project Slip → Print & Submit → Supervisor Assignment → Project Writing & Corrections → Final Submission → Defence (Postgraduate) → Await Result
