NOUN's DE&GS Announces 3rd Hybrid Graduation for Entrepreneurship Education
Abuja, Nigeria – The Directorate for Entrepreneurship and General Studies (DE&GS) of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is preparing to host its 3rd hybrid graduation ceremony for the Certificate in Entrepreneurship Education (NEE) program. The event, a significant milestone for graduating students, will take place at the university's headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
Dr. Samuel Awolumate, the Ag. Director of DE&GS, officially announced the ceremony, emphasizing its importance in recognizing the academic achievements of the NEE graduates. The directorate stated that the event "will host the third hybrid graduation ceremony for NOUN Certificate in Entrepreneurship Education (NEE), an occasion dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievement in their academic journey."
The graduation will be conducted in two parts. A virtual pre-event session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This will be followed by the main graduation ceremony on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, held at the Conference Centre of NOUN, Jabi, Abuja.
The virtual pre-event session will feature a keynote address by Prof. Mrs. Helen Kwanashie, a distinguished academic, leadership consultant, and the program's best graduating participant.
Kwanashie will deliver a presentation on "Strategic Planning for Emerging Entrepreneurs and Professional Development," offering valuable insights to the graduating cohort.
