Emeritus Prof. Peter Okebukola, the Chairman of the Governing Council of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), recently paid a visit to the Badagry Study Centre in Lagos. The purpose of the visit was to examine the situation and activities of the center since its inception towards the end of 2022.

During his visit, Okebukola was impressed with the facilities at the study center and commended the director, Dr. Julius Paul Eyanuku, and his management team for a job well done in a short period of academic commencement.

Okebukola also noted that the study center was an international study center in Lagos, which provided educational opportunities for the community and increased the number of opportunities for education in the area. He pledged his support when needed and urged the center staff to put more effort into enrolling students at the center.

In response, Eyanuku expressed his appreciation to Okebukola, whose personal efforts led to the establishment of the center through the Chairman of the Badagry Local Government Area Council, Hon. Onilude Olisegun Adeniran. Eyanuku also thanked the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Femi Peters, for providing office equipment to the center within a limited time and financial constraints.

The visit ended with a group photo of Emeritus Prof. Peter Okebukola and the staff of the Badagry Study Centre.
