The Nodal Officer, SERVICOM Unit of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Mrs. Margaret Boro, has called on the SERVICOM Representatives to be calm, patient and diplomatic while carrying out their assignments.

Boro gave this advice while delivering her opening address on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 during the 1st Quarterly Meeting of the SERVICOM Representatives of the university, which took place  physically  at the headquarters and virtually in all the NOUN's study centres.

While thanking the SERVICOM Representatives for attending the meeting, Boro urged them to carry out their duties politely, adding that SERVICOM is not policing anybody but to ensure that the right thing is done.

The Nodal Officer also advised the representatives to observe and write their reports to the SERVICOM Unit of the university for prompt and further action, saying that the representatives at the study centres should "discourage exam malpractices and project the good image of the university to the people."

She appreciated them for their useful contributions to the meeting and assured that all their suggestions and complaints would be forwarded to the appropriate quarter for further actions.

Boro called on them to participate fully in the forth-coming 13th Convocation Ceremony, enjoining them to perform their duties without fear or favour and that they should observe and report any corrupt act to the SERVICOM Unit for necessary action.
