Centre directors affected by the recent changes in the North-west
The Management of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has approved the redeployment of three centre directors within the North-west geo-political zone.
The redeployment was sequel to a recent management decision to effect certain changes at the leaderships of some study centres.
Those affected by this new change are: Dr. Babangida Iro, former centre director of Katsina, who swapped position with Yusuf Abdullahi of Kaduna centre.
Similarly, Dr. Madu Galadima of the Special Study Centre, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Garki II, Abuja is now the centre director, Special Study Centre for the Nigeria Air Force, Air Force Base, Kaduna.
The new directors have since assumed duties in their respective centres.
It could be recalled that a letter dated February 5, 2024, signed by the University Registrar, Mr. Oladipo Ajayi, it stated that "this is to inform all concerned staff that approval has been given for their posting.
"Please note that the posting takes effect from Monday 12th February 2024.
"All affected staff are to ensure that they do detailed handover before proceeding to their new station," the letter said..
Meanwhile, Prof. Nda E. Mundi, formally of the Special Study Centre for the Nigerian Air Force, Kaduna, has been redeployed to Iddah Community Study Centre, Kogi State.
