These graduates, having successfully completed the Entrepreneurship Education Certificate program, embody NOUN's commitment to nurturing capable individuals who are primed to excel in the real-world business landscape.
The milestone moment unfolded in a virtual graduation ceremony on August 2, 2023, marking the inaugural celebration of these accomplished Incubatee entrepreneurs. With unwavering dedication, they underwent rigorous training and mentorship as part of the entrepreneurship program, emerging fully equipped for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
A resounding cheer and congratulations echoed from the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, who underscored the value of entrepreneurial education in today's world. He highlighted that cultivating entrepreneurial thinking and skills is not just a trend but a pivotal necessity. Prof. Peters, represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academics, Prof. Uduma Oji Uduma, conveyed the institution's commitment to this endeavor, emphasizing the establishment of incubation centers across various regions.
"In NOUN, we aim to fortify our efforts by creating incubation centers across the country, fostering an environment that encourages entrepreneurial exploration. The transformative learning you've undergone will undoubtedly prepare you for the dynamic entrepreneurial landscape of today," Prof. Peters affirmed.
Dr. Samuel Awolumate, the Director of the Directorate of Entrepreneurship and General Studies, echoed this sentiment in his welcome address.
