Great news from the Benin Study Centre at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), Benin City, Edo State! In collaboration with the university's management, the centre has recently acquired a 7.5kva power generator to enhance electricity supply on campus.
Dr. Akeem Disu, the centre director, shared that the decision to procure an additional power generator was prompted by the recent hike in petrol and diesel prices. The new generator will serve as a backup to the existing 110kva Cummins diesel generator provided by the university, ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted power supply.
With a firm commitment to delivering prompt and efficient services, the centre is determined to maintain a smooth flow of activities for its staff and students alike. The delighted staff members expressed their appreciation to the centre director for his proactive approach in resolving the power supply challenge.
The acquisition of this new generator is set to be a game-changer, as it ensures a constant and stable power supply, enabling staff to efficiently attend to the needs of students without any interruptions.
With this investment in modern infrastructure, the Benin Study Centre at NOUN takes another step forward in its mission to provide quality education and create an optimal learning environment for its students.
Kudos to the Benin Study Centre and its management for their dedication to powering progress and enhancing the learning experience for everyone involved!
