Important Update for NOUN Students Seeking Tutorial Centers!

Friday, 01-November-2024     >>> The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet. >>>     Friday, 01-November-2024

In a significant development for all National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) students, we bring you crucial information on the current state of tutorial centers and class arrangements.

Gone are the days when NOUN offered physical lectures in 30% of their study centers. Presently, there are no physical classes on campus, with the exception of external tutorial centers, where students can opt for paid tutoring.

However, fear not, dear students! NOUN has adapted to the times and introduced a revolutionary alternative. Since 2021, the university has implemented online facilitation, catering to students' educational needs effectively.

Here's how it works: Once you've completed your semester registration, you gain access to the eLearn Portal. Within this portal, you can find scheduled Zoom sessions for specific courses. Expert facilitators will guide you through the learning process, ensuring a seamless virtual classroom experience.

According to the school's academic calendar, the facilitation for each course will commence on specific dates. These dates will be communicated through our dedicated WhatsApp or Telegram group channel, keeping you informed and prepared for each session. This way, you'll know exactly when and where to join your facilitator and fellow students.

Moreover, be aware that there is a designated date and time for each course. This organization ensures a structured and organized learning environment, enabling you to manage your study schedule effectively.

Please note that access to these online facilitations is contingent upon completing your semester registration. So, make sure you have that step sorted before the sessions begin.

It's important to understand that while the online facilitations offer an excellent learning opportunity, they may not cover all courses. Some subjects might not be available in this format, but there's a solution for that too.

To stay ahead in your studies, we recommend the following approach: Determine the courses you need to register for by checking out the fee analysis at "https://puredu.net/fee-checker." Once you have your course list, download the relevant course material from "https://puredu.net/Course-Material" and start studying independently. This way, you'll be well-prepared before the facilitation sessions commence.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, we encourage you to engage with us in the comments section below. We're committed to providing timely support and answers to ensure your academic success.

This news serves as a reminder that NOUN is continually evolving its educational methods to suit the changing times. Embrace the opportunities it offers and maintain a thirst for knowledge as you embark on your academic journey.

  1. My concern sometimes is that out of ten registered courses one hardly gets course materials in printed form for more than five courses. Availability of these hard copies removes the stress for attending live facilitations.

  2. Please am in 300L and I will love to attend the online classes please
