NOUNAA Adamawa Chapter Illuminates Gulak Study Centre with Solar Donation

The National Open University of Nigeria Alumni Association (NOUNAA), Adamawa State Chapter, has extended a beacon of support to the Gulak Community Study Centre, gifting the institution with LED solar street lights and poles.

Spearheaded by State Chairman, Mr. Peter Milgawa Umar, the donation underscores NOUNAA's commitment to bolstering educational infrastructure within the state. The initiative aims to significantly improve the lighting conditions at the study centre, thereby creating a more conducive learning environment for both students and staff.

Beyond the provision of essential hardware, the association further demonstrated its dedication by contributing N30,000 to facilitate the installation process of the street lights. This financial support ensures the swift and effective deployment of the donated resources.

The Centre Director, Mrs. Margaret Yamtu, conveyed her profound appreciation for the alumni association's generosity. She emphasized the transformative impact of the LED solar street lights, highlighting their potential to illuminate the study centre during evening hours and foster a safer, more productive atmosphere for academic pursuits. She stated, "This donation will greatly benefit our students and staff, and we appreciate the thoughtfulness of NOUNAA's Executive Committee." The donation is expected to significantly improve the learning environment at the Gulak Study Centre.
