NOUN SERVICOM officers prime for improved service delivery

nder the National Universities Commission, NOUN is the only university that we have to pull out from under NUC and place it directly on our protocol list because of the importance we place on the university and that means the university can have direct access to SERVICOM. The university is quite different from the conventional universities and you have a large customer base.”


According to her, NOUN is quite unique and peculiar due to its nature, explaining further that “NOUN is the only MDA that has about two parents, which are the Federal Ministry of Education and National Universities Commission and that makes NOUN more important. Here is the reason, why this training is important.”

On her part, the Nodal Officer, NOUN SERVICOM, Mrs. Adeniran Foluke, said the training for all NOUN SERVICOM representative was “designed to inform us of the rudiments on how we can provide quality service to the people, deliver and improve quality service in our various units, directorates, faculties and study centres.”


Foluke said SERVICOM has been doing a lot and described as the training as apt.


She told the participants of the training that “We will look at what SERVICOM is and also talk about your roles and duties as SERVICOM representatives. This training is to sensitise us on the service delivery initiative. More light will be thrown on the concept of SERVICOM, most organisations use SERVICOM as question type for promotion examinations.


The Nodal Officer, who appreciated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olufemi Peters, for the privilege, also encouraged NOUN Focal Officers to put in more efforts to ensure that NOUN SERVICOM delivers effectively to both her internal and external publics.


Questions were later asked by the SERVICOM representatives and Mrs. Ania answered them all.
