Akintola's team visited Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area in Bauchi State.

During these visits, the teams engaged with local leaders to discuss the importance of NOUN's academic programmes for staff development. Prof. Yalams highlighted the benefits of enrolling in the university's Open and Distance Learning programme, emphasizing its flexibility, affordability, and stress-free nature. The teams also reaffirmed NOUN's mandate to bring education to the doorstep of every organization and how good education can enhance the performance of officers.

The council chairmen expressed their appreciation for the sensitization and awareness campaign about NOUN and promised to advocate for the university to attract more enrollment to the centre. The advocacy drive also visited Government Secondary School in Dengi, Kanam LGA, where they were welcomed by the principal, Mr. Musa Dogo. Mr. Akintola introduced the aim of the visit, and the staff engaged in an interactive session where they asked questions about the mode of operations, financial strength, and recognition of NOUN's certificates. The principal encouraged the staff to enroll in NOUN's programmes to acquire more knowledge and improve their skills for the betterment of their services.
